charming stay with excellent service
The rooms offered a generous amount of space and reflected an authentic character, making our stay comfortable. The breakfast was particularly enjoyable, crafted perfectly to our preferences and beautifully plated.
The building shows its age, though it is clean and well-maintained.

Perfect spot for families!
Our stay was incredible, the owners were incredibly hospitable and they even provided my little one with crispy bacon and chips for dinner! The breakfast was nothing short of delicious, just what we needed after a long day.
It wasn’t exactly a bargain but you get what you pay for and it was worth it.

We had a lovely time relaxing in the charming garden and enjoying the cozy seating areas around the hotel. The room was spacious and the bed comfy, but I found the pillows a bit too firm for my liking, which left me with a slight neck ache. it was a delightful stay, and I’d recommend trying the delicious breakfast options! 🌼

The historic charm and meticulous cleanliness of this castle truly stood out during my two-night stay. The breakfast was a highlight, offering quality food that exceeded my expectations. Staff were incredibly accommodating, particularly when modifying dishes to suit specific tastes. being a historic building, the rooms are quite quirky, which may not suit everyone’s preferences. there was some noise from other guests that could be heard at night.

otterburn castle hotel is a real gem! the staff were super friendly and made us feel at home. breakfast was just delish with great choices, and the building itself is stunning with so much history. my wife and i loved exploring the beautiful grounds and chilling out in the cozy bar. the room was pretty comfy too!
the tv in the room was way too small and hard to see from the bed. also, it got a bit cold at night and could've used a thicker blanket.
